Lissette Bazan
Graphic Designer
I'm Lissette Bazán, a graphic designer in March. My work focuses on the development of visual identities and graphic systems to maintain consistency across all touch points of a brand. I am interested in understanding the context and the essence of each project before you design, so that each visual piece has a meaning and reinforce the message.
I believe in design as a tool of communication clear, able to organize, differentiate and strengthen a brand.
How do you face the challenge of designing for brands so different from each other?
Each brand has a logic of its own, that's why the first step always is to observe and understand. I want to know the context, personality, and objectives before designing any visual element. Designing for different brands involves adapting the graphic language without losing clarity or coherence. The challenge is to find a solution visual that accurately represents the brand and not the designer.
What is the role of graphic design within a digital strategy? Answer:
Graphic design is the first point of contact between the brand and the user. Plays a key role in the perception, confidence, and comprehension of the message. A good design not only accompanies the digital strategy, but rather reinforces it, facilitating the reading, navigation, and recall of the brand.
What aspects better care of to develop a visual identity? Answer:
I very much care for the consistency. An identity must be operated in different formats and stay solid at the time. Also I pay attention in typography, use of color and composition, because they are elements that build character and personality of the brand.
How is your experience working in team in March?
The work is very collaborative. Share points of view, and receive feedback constantly to improve the results. In March the design does not work in isolation, but as part of a joint process where everyone brings from his specialty.
